Tomlin’s goal is to maximize returns.

In the mid-1970s Tomlin expanded its scope from land brokerage only to land investment and development.  All Tomlin projects have been successful, with the exception of several properties the investors had acquired on terms and for personal reasons were no longer able to make the payments.

Projects range greatly in size and scope because Tomlin’s goal is to maximize returns and not simply take on a large number of projects.  Investment projects range from acquiring a property that has all entitlements and utilities and is only held until the market matures, to blocking up large tracts requiring everything from zoning to the construction of streets and utilities.
